Sylvia's Peanut Butter Cake
My family has big love for all things peanut butter. And of all the peanut butter things we love, Silvia Simons cake is at the top of the list. I assure you, if I'm helping set up a dinner at the church and that cake is there - it's going out one piece short.
Here's the recipe:
Peanut Butter Cake
½ c. butter
½ c. peanut butter
½ c. oil
1 c. water
Bring to a slight boil the above ingredients in a saucepan. Remove from heat and add:
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 t. baking soda
½ c. milk
1 t. vanilla
2 eggs
Beat well. Pour into cake pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Cool.
Icing:
Bring to a slight boil:
½ c. butter
½ c. peanut butter
1/3 c. milk
Remove from heat let cool slightly. Add confectioner’s sugar until desired consistency. (Sometimes I double the batch of this if I want extra icing, mostly I do...eat a little, ice a little, eat a little, ice a little...)

Ladies Up All Night is this Friday!
That's right! Only two more days till the sleepover.
OK. Let me be honest here. Last year, I wasn't really sure I wanted to go to the sleepover. Why? Well, as Ronnie says I'm the life of the party - as long as that party ends at 9. He's soo right. I am not a night owl. I'm so glad I went. I had fun and I actually came out of it with some new friends.
This year our theme is Making the Right Choices in 2014. Brittney Stewart will be sharing her testimony, Lindsey Porter will lead us in worship, we have great games, a movie and as is Trinity tradition, great food.
Join us for a great time as we seek to hear God's voice and make right choices.

Pregancy Resource Center Baby Shower.
Next Sunday is our annual Sanctity of Life baby shower for the Pregnancy Resource Center.
And while I've always thought that the PRC is a great idea, I'll be honest that I don't know exactly what they do there. So I called our very own Angela Ferguson, who is a board member, to find out what it's all about.

Ladies Exercise Class.
Hi Ladies! I got this email from Alisha about the exercise class on Tuesdays. It's free and for all fitness levels. Here's what she has to say:
I’m so excited to be doing this class!!
A little bit about my journey to getting fit (I’m still working at it,always will be :) ) I had been active all of my life playing sports all through school I could eat whatever I wanted and my body was not affected. After college, marriage, and two wonderful little boys I put on the weight. I gained 70lbs! It was time for change, I no longer wanted to talk about it I wanted to see it happen, so last year around the 2nd week in January I started.
I worked out in my own home doing beachbody workouts and completly changing how I eat. I have lost 67lbs!! I have just become a Beachbody Coach and want to help anyone that wants to get fit and just become healthier! I know how hard it can be and I want to support, encourage, and push others so they can do the same!!
